Innovate European University of Technology (Inno-EUt+)


The Innovative European University of Technology (Inno-EUt+) is an HEI Initiative project aiming to enhance the innovation and entrepreneurial capacity of a new European University Alliance, the European University of Technology (EUt+). The partners of the alliance are already committed to a gradual integration of educational and research activities, co-creating opportunities for their staff and student body across all the campuses of the alliance. EUt+ is about the future and “puts human first”, fully oriented to society and the approach to the introduction of innovative technologies in education and entrepreneurship.

Mission: Presentation of different ideas in the following areas: innovation in renewable energy, sustainable transformation in the food chain, change in the understanding of urban mobility or another innovative idea that will contribute to the development of the circular economy and to tackling climate change. The project will receive funding from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology EIT Higher Education Initiative (HEI)Building Innovative Capacity for Higher Education. This new initiative of the EIT aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial and innovation capacity of higher education institutions (HEIs).

We are very excited to announce you that we will have a new team of prepared Teachers on board of the innovation program of the European University of Technology. The teachers will go through a process of 'Train the Trainers' in order to be prepared to help the students work on an idea, develop it through 8 modules and finally pitch it. The 8 modules of the Climate Launchpad are about giving students some basic entrepreneurship skills including: define their Deal, identify their Beachhead market, work on their Customer Value Proposition, understand Key Financials, assess the Climate Impact of their idea, and perform a Customer Discovery.

Previous events

The unpredictable complicated COVID-19 situation imposed the online training conduction in the period of 15-26.11.2021. An Information Day has been organized on the 15th of November. All the interested in this event had the preliminary opportunity for meeting the conditions and requirements of forthcoming Training and Competition Day. In the Information Day, 63 students took part in it. On the 22nd of November into the Training Day has been formed 14 teams among 64 participation students . During the week between the Training and Competition Day a lot of consultations have been carried out with almost all the participants, using the web-platform Discord.

The Competition day has been conducted on the 26th of November led and supervised by the jury of four people – Dimov, Mitova, Milenov and Assoss. Prof. Balin Balinov – a professional expert in the ECO-Management and Climate Changes. In the competition 11 teams in total took part. Each team presented itself according to the competition’s requirements and preliminary approved rules and a pre-determined schedule. The following teams ranked in the first three places:


- EVO 5.0 (Dimitar Bratsov, Yuksel Isufov, Radoslav Karaivanov, Petar Dimitrov)
Idea: Creation of outerwear from maize fibers extracted and processed in a special way and waste fabrics from the textile industry.

- Green girls (Victoria Tosheva, Milena Bosachka, Tsveta Pencheva, Snezhana Atanasova)
Idea: Eco-friendly packaging for dairy products. Production of environmentally friendly packaging for bamboo dairy products, the reason being that it is a rapidly renewable resource, and the packaging will be suitable for everyday use without harming health and the environment.

- GreenXzodia (Tavit Tavityan, Emilian Atanasov, Ioan Ivanov, Nikolay Belomachev, Maxim Yotsov)
Idea: A game based on the blockchain technology divided by levels, which need to build P2P (Peer to Peer) community such as moderators and administrators. The game will encourage eco-friendly actions like using a bamboo brush and glass bottle, planting a tree, separate garbage disposal and cleaning up contaminated areas. The idea is to attract the interest of investors by paying with cryptocurrencies, and if they don’t want to play the game, just to contribute by buying crypto on game’s token, and like this increasing the value.

All Competition participants received Certificates of Participation, and the first three placed teams received Certificates - for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
